Elon Musk Reiterated the Possibility of Acceptance of Tesla Payments in Dogecoin “at Some Point”

Elon Musk said that people will eventually be able to buy Tesla cars with Dogecoin (DOGE) during his recent visit to one of the company's factories, Giga Berlin. The connected car company already allows users to purchase some related products with Dogecoin.

“When will you be able to buy a Tesla with Dogecoin? At some point, I think we should allow it.” said Musk in a video uploaded by X user @dogeofficialceo, answering a question about a possibility of buying cars with Dogecoin. “You can buy Tesla products with Doge, and that's cool. So Dogecoin — to the moon!”. Notably, Musk repeatedly expressed his liking for a memcoin with the theme of his favorite pet and his Doge holdings being formed on behalf of his son “so he can be a toddler hodler”.

There’s a buzz forming around Dogecoin again. It recently surged by over 200% in trading volume, reaching a price of $0.1840. There are many technical signs of this rally to be rather prolonged this time around — even remembering its 2021 surging spree to reach $1 price tag; using current market bullishness, it can potentially set a goal to repeat its effort and finally reclaim $1 mark.
