Telegram Wallet introduced Wallet Pay – Valid for BTC, TON and USDT

A popular messenger’s Telegram Wallet introduced launching a new crypto payment solution based on The Open Network (TON) blockchain. The new service, called Wallet Pay™, provides transactions between users and companies, allowing direct payments in the Telegram’s messenger interface. Payments can be made in Bitcoins, TON and USDT.
Wallet Pay, allows payments by the named cryptocurrencies for any goods and services marketed through Telegram venues. Customers will be able to replenish their cryptocurrency account with a bank card right in the payment process. Several other options will also be offered.
Telegram representatives said that the new payment feature is available in all jurisdictions supported by the service. At the moment, this list of jurisdictions includes most countries, except for the United States and those blacklisted by the Financial Action Task Force. The bot manages the custodial wallet and has its own commission structure. Commissions for cryptocurrency payments will range from 1% to 3% during the beta period. According to the wallet's support team, the bot currently charges a commission of 0.0004 Bitcoins (around 12 USDT) for cryptocurrency withdrawals from its custodial wallet. The commission for withdrawals in USDT and TON it is 2 USDT and 0.05 TON, respectively.
